Joseph S. Codrick is a 1979 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and began his career in the financial services industry over 38 years ago. He founded his first firm in 1986, which quickly grew into a major player in western Pennsylvania. By 2000, he owned or partnered in five separate corporations/partnerships, totaling 68 employees and/or financial professionals. With the goal of developing an all-inclusive financial planning firm to service an existing large and diverse client base, he sold the brokerage and multi-advisory firm in 2001. This strategic decision provided the focus and flexibility, along with the firm’s investment in technology, necessary to grow Chapel Hill Investment Analysts, Inc. into a premier Financial Planning and Money Management firm.
Joe has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP Professional) since 1994 and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for over 20 years. He has served as a member/officer on many philanthropic boards and organizations, including The Ligonier Valley School District Foundation and the Ligonier Valley YMCA. Adding to his strong sense of community, he has been a member of both Rotary International and the Greensburg Rotary Club for over thirty-five years, as well as a proud member of the Central Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce.
Joe is a multi-year recipient of the Five Star Wealth Advisor Award recognized by Pittsburgh Magazine.
Joe has been married to his college sweetheart, Marcia, for over 40 years, and has two children. His son, Ryan, joined him in the business and has provided extensive depth in the money management and research field. His daughter, Aly, works as a medical professional in North Carolina. Joe welcomed his first grandchild, Audrey, in 2018.
